Originally the sole focus of our business, we still, to this day, stock an extensive range of ambient products from everyday tea to luxury individual jam portions, soups, sauces and essential ingredients in catering sizes. We also stock some more unusual products such as Yuzu juice and Meadowsweet Tincture, so be sure to have a look through our catalogue for some inspiration.
We have been stocking chilled goods for 5 decades and in this time we have developed a range of essential chilled products including meat, poultry and fish, as well as numerous dairy items. All our chilled items are temperature checked on arrival to ensure food quality and safety standards are met, and are delivered to you on the back of a temperature controlled vehicle. Wherever possible all our chilled products are locally sourced.
Frozen food represents our most recent addition to our product range. We branched out into this area over 20 years ago and significantly expanded the range with our freezer expansions in 2015 and again this year. Our stock includes a wide variety of both sweet products like cakes, dessert and frozen fruit, and savoury foods such as chips, pies, bread and pizza. All our frozen items are temperature checked on arrival to ensure food quality and safety standards are met, and are delivered to you on the back of a temperature controlled vehicle.
No kitchen would be complete without the supporting role played by non-food products. We stock over 40 suppliers of non-food goods, ranging from compostable and recyclable alternatives for single use plastic, to cleaning chemicals for kitchens. In particular our Country Range branded items, used by many of customers, offer exceptional quality at a highly competitive price.
With increasing awareness of food intolerances and allergies it is important for all chefs and catering staff to create meals that accommodate these dietary requirements. Working with our customers we have built a comprehensive list of products that will enable you to provide gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan meals simply and easily. Every year we take on specific seasonal stock in the lead up to major calendar events such as Easter, Summer, and Christmas to help you make your menus and dining experiences that little bit extra special. This items are only stocked for a limited time and often sell out fast so be sure to plan your seasonal menus in advance and discuss your requirements with your account manager at your earliest convenience.
