We make no secret of the fact that we have been going a long time – in fact, this year is our 165th anniversary. In that time we’ve seen a lot of changes including retiring the horse and cart in the 1940s. Shortly after that, we expanded our product range to stock over 4000 products including chilled and frozen foods. And in 2014 we changed our trading name. This year marks the culmination of the changes that began in 2014 so keep reading to find out about our new look and feel EFG Foodservice!
We’re proud of our heritage and making the decision to refresh our brand was never going to be easy. We felt however that it was time for a clean, fresh new look to see us forward. As you can see, it has also given us the opportunity to include the word “foodservice”. Signalling our foodservice focus will help us define our business to customers and suppliers, both old and new. We haven’t had the new logo for long but we are already in love with its sleek design – a big thank you to Eclipse Creative for working with us to create it.
It’s well accepted that a company’s website acts as their virtual shop window and just like a real shop window, every now again it needs to be refreshed. We felt that this year was the perfect opportunity to do just that. After all, what better way to showcase our new initiatives than on a new website. These changes, both on the website and off, are designed to improve our customers’ experience with us.
It seems a little strange to be telling you about our new website as if you are reading this you are already using it! However, let us quickly tell you about all the wonderful new features we have packed into it: there’s a blog (this blog!), an improved layout and better signposting for easier navigation, a promotions page so you never miss out on any deals or special offers again, easy to find digital versions of our product catalogues and a quick online form for new customers requesting to open an account. We have also improved links to our online web ordering system if you wish to place orders online.
We haven’t forgotten our delivery fleet in this wave of makeovers; we’re giving the drivers’ uniforms and their vehicles an update too. We’ll be rolling out this new look across the year. We hope to everything in line with the new brand image by the end of 2018. Why not share a snap of the first new look vehicle you see and where you saw it? We’ll retweet or share posts from anyone including #NewEFGFoodservice in their post.
We hope you like 2018 reboot to EFG Foodservice, and that the website will now better support you and your business.
